LADIES' ASSOCIATION. SEASON OPENS NEXT MONTH. OFFICERS FOR NEW YEAR. M iss P. 11. Dawson presided at the twenty-sixth annual general meeting of tho Auckland Ladies' Hockey Association. There was a full attendance of local club delegates and also delegates from Franklin, Kaipara and Whangarei. .It was decided that tho 1929 season commence on May 4, entries to close on Monday, April 29, at 5 p.m. Technical past students and Papatoetoo both gave notice that they desired to enter a second team in the association's competitions. Tho Kaipara Ladies' Hockey Association was granted permission to change the name of its association to Ncirtherii Wairoa Association.

Technical College Past Students' Club was permitted to change caps from green and gold quarters to all green cap with yellow bands and the Y.W.C.A. Club's junior team is to wear headbands in place of caps as previously.

An alteration to Rulo 9 of the General Rules, allowing, of tho appointment of four vice-presidents instead of two as before, was approved.

It was decided tho association should again apply for tho New Zealand tournament to bo held iu Auckland this year. Tho election of officers resulted as follows Patron, Mr. W. J. Spiers j vice-presidents, Messrs. C. A. Finch, S. Clark. J. T. North, C. Davis and Geo. Finch, sen.: delegate to Auckland Association, Mr. ~\V. Nowsham (Auckland); delegates to Waikato Association', Messrs. C. J. Spiers and C. A. Finch; auditor, Mr. W. McGivern; ground committee, Messrs. C. Davis, A. 0. Finch and C. J. Spiers. After much consideration of tho question of securing a game with the Australian touring representatives it was docided not to accept tho terms offered. It was decided to invite the Rodney Association to send its representative team ,lo play Waipa at To Awamutu, preferably on Juno 3.

Royal blue was adopted as the colours for jerseys. Oflicers were elected as follows: —Palron, Mr. F. \V. Walters; president, Mr. I\. D. Johnston; vice-presidents, Messrs. R. D. Johnston, Woods, Lynch, Jeffries, Kinniburg, T. W. Cook, Weeks and Hansen; committee. Misses Cook and Averv. Mrs. TL D. Johnston, Messrs. Bigwood, Hyde, Mooro and Cooper; secretary, Mr. \V. Hvdc.

OTOROHANGA TUI CLUB. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN COnRESX'ONDENT.] OTOROIIANGA, Friday. Tho annual meeting of (lie Tui Hockey Club was bold last evening, Mr. V. Stagg presiding over an attendance of 16. Martin and Mcsdamcs Laurence and Miller; captain, Miss Hyde; vice-captain, Miss Leatham; delegate to union, Miss Leatham. It. was decided to affiliate with the Waipa Union. The president handed to Miss Leatham a gold shield presented for the most consistent player during the past season.
