THAMES VALLEY CLUB.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.! TE AROHA, Friday. Tho annual general meeting of the Thames Valley Coursing Club took place in tbe Jockey Club rooms, To Aroha. Mr. J. Hepburn presided over a well-at-tended meeting. Tho balance-sheet showed a credit of assets over liabilities of £36, which, said tho speaker, was very satisfactory considering the work that had been done. Tho following officers were elected:— Patron, Dr. Lawrence; president, Mr. J. Hepburn; vice-presidents, Messrs. Patterson, Flay,-Quirk, Halligan, Cornish; Long, Davi'es, Aislabie, Woods, Luxton. Wyllio, Somers and Wilcox; secretary, Mr. F. Firkin, jun.; treasurer, Mr. J. Hepburn; committee, Messrs. Charters, Timmins, Flay and tlio president and secrotary (ex officio). Tho chairman said tho thanks of all we so duo to Dr. Lawrence, who had presented tho club with a handsomo cup for competition. It was decided the cupwinner must compete in an open all-ag'9 stake, tho event to bo won two years in succesison or three years at intervals. Competitors must be members of' the Thames Club* i ■M
