HOWICK WATER SUPPLY.
UNSATISFACTORY REPORT. The proposed water supply for the, Howick town district was further discussed at a meeting of the Town Board on Thursday evening An unsatisfactory report was received from the Health Department regarding tho preliminary tests of water samples taken from tho proposed supply at Pigeon 'Mountain. It was decided to submit further samples from a deeper portion of the bore, it being stated that there was evidence ol iecent contamination in the samples already tested.
