TRANSPORT BOARD NOTICES. TRANSPORT BOARD. THE LOCAL BODIES LOANS ACT. 1926. PROPOSED LOAN OF £526,600. The Auckland Transport Board having obtained the necessary Statutory consent of tlie Local Government Loans Board, hereby gives notice, in pursuance of Section 10 of "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1920": 1. That the Auckland Transport Board proposes to engage in the following undertaking. namely, the Extension and improvement of Tramways as follows: Tramway Extension, Surrey Crescent to Pt. Chevalier. Tramway Extension on Remuera Road. Tramway Extension on Mt. Eden Koad. Tramway Extension on Dominion Road. Tramway Extension, Edendale Road. Tramway Extension on Kicnmond Koad. Tramway Loop at New Auckland Railway Station. Tramway Siding in Stanley Street. Duplication of Tramway Track at Onehunga. , rn , Provision of New Tramcars and Plant. improvement and Enlargement of Workshops. 2. That the Auckland Transport Board, being unable to provide the funds for such work out of its ordinary revenue, proposes to raise a Special Loan of not exceeding £520,600, and to be known as_ the • transport' Development Loan, 1929.'' 3 That the said Loan will be repayaole at the end of twenty <2O) years, with provision for a Sinking Fund of not less ihan Three Pounds (£3) per centum per annum. 4. That the proposed security ior the said Loan shall be a Special Rate of 3/16 th ot Id in the £ on the rateable capital value ot ttie Board's District. 5. That the Auckland Transport Board proposes to pay out of such Loan. costs, charges and expenses a3 the Auckland Transport Board may determine to have been actually incurred in connection with such Loan, but no portion of the Interest or Sinking Fund. , .
