COMBINED CLUB EVENTS. CRUISING RACE TO MATIATIA. Two races will be held by the Royal New • Zealand Yacht Squadron, in coniunction with the Devonport iacht Llub to-day. Keel yachts will start off King s Wharf and will race to Matiatia, finishing between northern end of Matiatia Bay and mark boat.- The M class will start and finish off Victoria Wharf, Devonport. The entries are as follows:—Keel yachts to start, at 2.30: Ariki, Thelma, Waitangi, ' Nga Toa. loraiigi, Prize, Moana, Kotiri, Waione, Windward, Delville. M class, to start at 3, off Victoria Wharf, course same as Devonport Yacht Club Manene, Maroro, Mawhiti, Matarere, Maratea and Maia, all scratch. 'The officers for the day will be appointed from the sailing committee. Handicaps will he posted in the clubhouse at 11 o'clock this morning. DEVONPORT YACHT CLUB. ENTRIES AND HANDICAPS. The/Devonport Yacht Club will hold n series of cruising and harbour races todav. Entries are satisfactory and some keen racing is anticipated. The keel yachts and M class yachts will race in conjunction with the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron. The keel yachts will start off King's Wharf and race to Matiatia while all the smaller classes will start and finish off Victoria Wharf. Devonport.
