BAY OF PLENTY ACTIVITIES. [BY TELEGKA PH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] TE PUKE, Friday. Tho Bay of Plenty Presbytery met, at To Puke this week, this being the first occasion on which the Presbytery has met in this town. Rev. Holloway presided. A reply was received from tlio Minister of Railways in response to a protest by tho Presbytery against Sunday excursion trains. .As the reply was considered unsatisfactory, a committee was appointed to take up the matter again. A meeting of tho Presbyterian Women's Missionary Union was also held, delegates being present from Whakatune and 'l'aneatua.
