The evening service, at which Canon Grant Cowcn preached, waft broadcast by station IYA. In the evening tho Archbishop preached to a large congregation in >SI. Mary's Cathedral upon tho evidences of the Resurrection.
Solemn pontifical high mass was celebrated iri St. Patrick's Cathedral by Bishop Liston. who was also the preacher. The services in Presbyterian, Methodist and other churches wero all appropriate to Easter, with special addresses and hymns.
