POPULATION OVER 8,000,000
Australian and N.Z. Press Association. (Received March 31, 5.55 p.m.) LONDON, March 30. Striking details of the growth of London arc given in the London County Council's annual report, which shows that Greater London has an area of 117 square miles, and a population of 8,089,000. Shops and property are insured for a total value of £2,189.000,000. There are 48 square miles of parks and open spaces.
