REFEREES' ASSOCIATION, ELECTION OF OFFICERS. [BY TEtEGRAPJI. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] PALMERSTON NORTH, Sunday. At the annual meeting of tho New Zealand Rugby Referees' Association yesterday Mr. D. McKenzie (Wellington) intimated that ho was not seeking re-election as president, nn ofTirc lie had held since 191.'!. Mr. Kronfeld (Auckland) moved that the referee place tho ball in tho Bcrunimage on all occasions. An amendment was also moved that iho w< rds "where possible" he added. Both amendment and motion were rejected. Tho election oi officers resulted President, Mr. Pcler Mackio (Auckland); vicepresidents, one from each association: committee, Messrs. A. M. Sims (South Canterbury). C. Wliito (Manawatu), D. McKenzie, G. Bradley, T. A. Fletcher, L. Severs, E. S. Hylton (Wellington); auditor, Mr. A. ii. W. Crowther. It was decided to appoint a salaried secretary and that-headquarters remain at. Wellington. The next conferenco will bo held at Christchurch. CONTEST AT DUNEDIN.
