FATAL MISHAP TO CHILD.
SUSPENDED FROM COT. DEATH CAUSED BY SHOCK. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] NAPIER, Saturday. A distressing accident occurred at \Vestshore yesterday afternoon. A child 18 months old, Frank Eose, struggled half-way through the bars of its cot at the home of its foster parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. J, Sbeppherd. While the child was suspended feet downwards and held at tho waist it died from shock while endeavouring to free itself.
