SUNDAY SCHOOLS.
EASTER CONVENTION.
Representatives of a large number of Auckland Sunday Schools and others from southern districts, numbering 450, are at present meeting at the Unity Hall for their Easter convention. The convention commenced on Friday morning, and was continued on Saturday. The Rev. F. -A. Thompson, of Birkonhea'd, i;i presiding, and there are a number of speakers each day, each dealing with subjects of interest to Sunday School teachers. Following Bible study on Saturday morning, Mr. L. E. Falkrtcr gave an address on " The Supplementary Talk with Blackboard," and the Rev. L. B. Busfield spoko on " The Child and Religion." In the afternoon, Mr. Thompson spoke on " Art in the Sunday School," while the Rev. L. B. Fletcher dealt with the cradle-roll department. An interests ing programme was carried out yesterday, and delegates will take part in varied activities to-day, which is the last of the convention.
