RECORD BUTTER ENTRIES.
LARGER OFFERING OF CHEESE. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRpESS ASSOCIATION.] PALMERSTON NORfH, Monday. Record butter entries have been rereived by the Manawatu Agricultural and Pastoral Association for the National Dairv Show in June, while the cheese entries show a big increase over the previous four years. This increase in entries is interesting in view of a recent statement that it does not pay dairy companies to exhibit in view of the deterioration of produce while out of cool store. The butter entries this year total 3-59, compared with 307 last year. The cheese entries number 193, as against 120.
