VALUABLE BIRDS STOLEN.
POULTRY CLUB'S LOSSES.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION".] CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday.
At a meeting of the Christchurch Poultry Club the caretaker of the club's farm reported that in the past few weeks a number of valuable birds had been stolen. The club came to the decision that "something drastic" must be done, and the committee was recommended to install an up-to-date burglar alarm.
