AUCKLAND ACCIDENTS.
FALL AT TEPiO BATHS.
HEAD INJURIES SUSTAINED
Through slipping when she was walking round tho edge of the pool at the Tepid Baths, Mrs. J. Darby, of 8, Fernleigh Street, Ponsonby, sustained severe injuries to the head and concussion. She was taken to the Auckland Hospital. Her condition is not serious.
Minor injuries to the back were sustained by Mr. S. Joyce, a waterside worker, aged 53, marriecj, of Oxford Terrace, Devonport, as tho result of being struck by a length of pipe which slipped while being hoisted from a hold on the steamer Port Bowen yesterday. Mr. Joyce was removed to tho hospital in the St. John Ambulance, and his condition last evening was stated to be satisfactory. The condition of Oliver Godfrey, who sustained injuries to the head and body in a collision in Khvber Pass on Sunday evening, was reported last evening to be still serious.
