PRINCE TO VISIT WALES
FRESH APPEAL TO PUBLIC. British Wireless. RUGBY, Feb. .3. The Prince of Wales was so moved by the appalling conditions ho saw on his three days' tour of tho Northumberland and Durham coalfields that he has expressed a strong wish to visit tho stricken coalmining areas in his own principality of Wales. Accordingly provisional arrangements arc being mado for a three days' lour of tho valleys of South Wales. It will be undertaken bv the Prince probably tho week after next
His Royal Highness is expected to make another earnest appeal to the nation for more financial assistance to relieve the distressed miners. This ho will not do until he lias completed his tour in South Wales Then ho is likely to give a detailed statement of the deplorable conditions of poverty ho has seen. Tho Prince will probably address more than 3,000,000 people through tho instrumentality of tho British Broadcasting Company.
