TRANSFER OF OFFICERS.
Transfers of several officers of the Railway Department in the Auckland sec- , tion are announced. Mr. C. C. Howard, of the train running office at Auckland, has been promoted to the train running office at Oliakune. Mr. S. W. Munn, of the Auckland train running office, has been promoted to stationmaster at Cambridge. He will be relieved by Mr. W. W. Pye, stationmaster at Kaikohe, who in turn will hand over to Mr. J. A. A. Ridgley, parcels clerk at Wanganui. Mr. L. W. King, stationmaster at. Mamaku, has been transferred as accounts clerk at Auckland.
