PAEROA, Saturday

Captain H. Simnionds, of the Paeroa Defence Rifle 'Club, who has been selected to tour Australia with the New Zealand rifle team, was last evening fare welled by his club mates.

Major S. Edwards, the president, on behalf of the club, congratulated Captain Simnionds and presented him with a handsome travelling rug frem members. Mr. TV. Marshall, Mayor ol Paeroa, afea yrislied Captain Simnionds a most successful trip , and, 011 behalf of the residents of the town, • congratulated the . guest .of the evening on his selection as a' New Zealand representative. i Lieutenant V.
