ARCHBISHOP OF YORK.
DR. TEMPLE ENTHRONED. CEREMONY IN THE MINSTER. Australian Press Association —United Service. LONDON. Jan. 10. Dr. William Temple, formerly Bishop of Manchester, was to-day formally enthroned as Archbishop of York. Snow mantled the roof of the beautiful York Minster, where 1000 clergy took part in the enthronement. There were 4000 people in the nave. Illness prevented the attendance of Dr. Cosmo Lang, Archbishop .of Canterbury.
