MIGRANTS TO CANADA.
BRITISH FARM WORKERS. EMPLOYMENT OF 6000. Australian Press Association—United Service. (Received January 11. 7.15 p.m.) OTTAWA. Jan. 10. Arrangements have been completed by the Department of Immigration to placo in farm employment in Canada 6000 British trained immigrants, the maximum number available before the end of July. The number of farm labourers to be admitted from non-preferred countries has been reduced to 30 per cent, of last year's total of 47,000.
