BOY LOSES HIS LIFE.
NO TRACE OF BROTHER. ILL-FATED FISHING TRIP. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] NAPIER, Friday. Two sons of the Rev. W. J. and Mrs. Ox brow, of Hastings, Len, aged 10, and Roy, aged seven, went fishing at Haumoana yesterday morning and failed to return. A shirt and a small pair of trousers were found by a search party on the banks of the Tukituki River. The body of the boy Len was recovered later to-day from the river. So far there is no trace of his brother. Mr. Oxbrow, who is a Methodist minister, is at present visiting Auckland. THE TRAGEDY AT KAWHIA. SECOND BODY NOT RECOVERED. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON, Friday. The body of Clarence Hunter, aged 19, who was drowned in the surf after attempting to save the lives of two boys who were in difficulties on Wednesday afternoon, had not been recovered this afternoon.
