MINISTERIAL VISITS.

DEPUTATIONS IN AUCKLAND. HON'. T. M. WILFORD DUE TO-DAY. Deputations on a nuniher of local subjects will lie received to day by Ministers of tlie Crown who arc visiting Auckland. Tho Minister of Health, tlio Hon. A. J. Stallworthy, arrived in Auckland on Saturday. He will receive a deputation in connection with the work of the St. Helen's Hospital this morning. Mr. Stallworthy will return to Wellington on Thursday or Friday. The Minister of Justice, tho Hon. T. M. Wilford, will arrive in Auckland this morning, and will remain here over (he holiday period. He Will bo at tho Grand Hotel. During his visit he will receive a deputation from tho Auckland Aero (,'luh in connection will) the allocation of the eight aeroplanes short I v due iti New Zealand. A deputation from the Devonport lioruiigh Council will alio interview likii with a request that (he relief works at l'arigitoii) should ho continued. The Postmaster-General, the Hon. .7. P>. Donald, who has been in Auckland for over a week, will remain in the city until January 7. He is quartered at the Ministerial suite at the Chief Post Of!' l en building. The Minister of Public Works, the Hon. E. A. Hansom, and the Minister of Lands and Agriculture, tho Hon. G. W. Forbes, will visit the Taupo district on a date early in the new year yet to be definitely fixed. It is expected Mr. Ransom will also visit tho hydro-electricity works at Arapuni, with which ho is anxious to make personal acquaintance, particularly in view of his promise to inquire into the reports as (o (ho stability of the rock foundations at tho dam and power house sites.
