DANISH EXPEDITION.

VISITOR'S ENTERTAINED. The trawler Dana, with the members of the Danish scientific expedition on board, is due to leave Auckland on Friday, and after studying the marine life in the gnlf and along the east coast the expedition will arrive at. Wellington, the last port of call in New Zea land, about January 5.

The visitors have been invited by the Auckland Racing Club lo attend the Summer Meeting, which opens on Wednesday. Aucklanders have shown great interest in Ihe trawler, with her modern equipment, and between 700 and 800 visitors were shown over the vessel yesterday afternoon.
