TOO LONG TO WAIT.
It was still some time before the doors would open for the ovening performance at tho theatre, but keen and eager patrons were already forming a long queue at the entrance. Two small urchins, whoso slender resources would just run to one hectic evening's amusement, approached, and, having carefully inspected the photographs outside attached themselves to tho queue. . A white-bearded old gentleman, who had been watching them, turned to one and romarked: "That's right, boys, you can't do better than como to Shakespere. I've been hero since I was a boy.' " Lumme, Bill!" exclaimed one of tho pair, after glancing quickly at the old man. " Come on!' I ain't goin* to wait oil that time."
