CHARGE OF BIGAMY.
CASE AGAINST ( CHEF. rBT TELE«n\PH.— OWN CORRESPONDENT. 1 CHRISTCHURCH, Friday A charge of bigamy was called in the Magistrate's Court this morning. Albert Edward Herbert Vince, a chef, aged 28, appeared before Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M. V on charges of failing to maintain his wife and of committing bigamy in that he went through a form of marriage at Hamilton on June 6. 1928, having been married' on Decembei 6. 1923. at Otakj to Violet Mary Gibbons / " Accused 1 has frankly admitted the bigamy charge," said Chief-Detective Car roll in applying for a remand until January '4. The remand" was grunted. On the application of the maintenance officer. Mr. P. Jones, an affiliation ordei in respect of the child of a third woman was• issued against accused, who "consented to the order. Maintenance was fixed sat 12s 6d a week.
