WELCOME RAIN IN FIJI.
ENiD OF SEVERE DROUGHT. [from our own correspondent. ] SUVA, Nov. 22. The drought which lias held Fiji in it* grip has finally broken. For a week or more tha sun was scarcely to bo seen. Days and nights were heavy and overcast, but the rain refused to fall, and the twin had arrived when drastic measures were to be taken to conserve what little was lelt, of Suva's water supply. Rain commenced io fall last Friday night, and has been falling intermittently since.
