The low level has been cleaned out for a distance of 000 ft. Another 210 ft. will take us in to the face. Alburuia. —Tho drive south 011 tho cross leader from tho north end of tho drivo north 011 tho liangingwall of tho Orlando reef hn3 been extended lift., a total of 20ft. Tho reef hero averages 12in. wide, but is split, into threo branches. The quartz broken from here carries nico mineral blend and silica. Tho country rock 011 both walls is still of a good class for making gold. Tho riso on tho cross leader, from tlio north end of tho drive north on tho liangingwall of tho Orlando reef has been risen sft a total of 10ft. high by 12ft. in length. The roof hero averages 18in. wide and the footwall portion still shows strong dabs of gold when broken down. _ The liangingwall portion is still mixod with mullock. 1,10 rise on the dropper off Som of t reedoni roof ■ has boon risen sft., a total of B(>ft.. Tho reef hero averages _loin. wide and carries nice mineral and silica. At una point. I have opened out and am pulunw in tho drivo timbers so as to start an intermediate level. After driving a few feet north from the rise a start will be rnndo to crosscut cast to cut Downs' leader, nlso a. crosscut west to cut tho main bona of Freedom reef.
