THE NEW TAUPIRI CLUB. OPENING OF THE GREEN. The Taupiri Bowline Club's newly-formed green was officially opened on iSaturday. Visitors were present, from all parts of the Waikato. The prosident. of the club, Mr. It. T. Hill, welcomed the visitors, and pave u short history of the club. Experts had told them they lind a fine green that would eventually comparo with any in tho Waikato.

Mr. S. R. James, president of the South Auckland Bowlinr Centre, congratulated tho neiv club, and complimented it on it 3 green and surroundings, Mrs. Hill was presented with a golden jack as a memento of the occasion. Tho rolling of the golden jack and the customary cheers closed tho opening function. Aiter play was concluded, Mr. S. R. James, on behalf of the visitors, thanked tho Tnupiri Club for its hospitality, and especially the ladies for the splendid afternoon tea they had provided. TE PAPA PA CLCB.
