BOOKS ON LOAN.
Sir, —This is a season of the year when our women folk arc doing a lot of cleaning uI > for Christmas. Now, I wonder if you would alio* ine. a space to nsk the ladies if they would give their book shelves an extra turnout and kindly send home nil Ihe stray hooks which have been so kindly lent to them. Remember, others are longing for knowledge that you are holding up by not returning these books. I, like many others, have dozens of books lent out with little, hope of ever seeing them again. Books.
