MAILS TO NEW PLYMOUTH.

A FASTER SERVICE. A speeding-up of tho m.iil service between Auckland nnd New Plymouth is to tako effect as from Saturday next. The usual jnctlii d of despatch of piails from Auckland has been by tho ordinary Main Trunk express as far as To lvuiti, and thence by service car to Now Plymouth. Tho mail has closed at Auckland at 5.30 p.m. and tlu letters have been duo at New Plymouth at 3 p.m. tho following day.
