NEW ZEALAND ACTOR.
SHAYLE GARDNER IN FILMS. PRODUCTIONS IN BERLIN. Australian and N.Z. I'ress Association. LONDON, Nov. 22. The New Zealand actor, Mr. Shaylo Gardner, returned to England to-day from Berlin, where- ho played the leading part in two films for the British and Foreign Films Company. The Australian actress Miss Eve Gray, was in one of the casts.
Mr. Shaylo Gardner was born in Auckland, and lifter being educated hero ho practised for some timo as an architect, lie first appeared on the stage in London in 1913. He served with the New Zealand troops in the war. He has since then played both on the stage and for the films.
