MALTE BRUN HUT.
grant for rebuilding. Advice has been received by tho Government Tourist Offico in Dunodin that a grant of £IOOO has been made for rebuilding Matte Brun hut at Mount Cook. The work is to be commenced at an early date, and it is intended to provide a mountain lodge to accommodate 30 or 40 persons with baths ami other conveniences The lodge will lie within easy reach of otio of tho finest ski-ing grounds in the world.
