The Governor-General, Sir Charles Fergusson, and Lady Alice Fcrgusson, accompanied by Captain Orr Ewing and Miss Dugdale, arrived at Timaru by special train to-dav and left Inter for Mount Cook Hermitage, where they will remain for 10 days.
