FRENCH CABINET RESIGNS.

COUl' BY THE RADICALS.

SENSATION ON THE BOURSE.

ANGER AGAINST CAILLAUX. SPECULATION AS TO SEQUEL. Aust rnlian Prefis Association—United Service PARIS, Nov. 6. Following upon tlie vote at 11 jo RadicalSocialists* congress, four Radical members of M. Poincare's Cabinet handed in their resignations. The entire Cabinet subsequently resigned. The crisis was most unexpected. M. Caillaux, a former Minister of Finance, seized an opportunity, when M. Ilerriot, Minister of Education, and bis supporters were absent, to call an evening Kitting of the congress. He then reintroduced the. declaration which entailed the resignation of the Radical-Socialists from the Cabinet.

Tho resolution was rushed through be fore the friends of the. Government roa lised Ihe effect of this action by M Caillaux.

There were exciting scenes on tho Bourse when the Government's resignation was announced. It is expected that the President, M. Doumergue, will ask M. I'oincare to continue in power, but as he would have no majority without the Radical-Socialists, some quarters think he is not likely to accept. M. Briand, Foreign Minister, is a possible alternative Premier.

The Chamber of Deputies met in spite of the absence of the Government. After a eulogy of the late M. Bokanowski, Minister of Commerce, who was killed in a recent dying accident, the Chamber was adjourned until Ihursday. Angry sentiments have been aroused against the Radical-Socialists, the minority of whom arc held to be to blame foi the crisis. Le Temps says the country's stupefaction will be changed into anger if the coup results in the return to power of M. Caillaux, one of the most bitter critics of M. Poincare.

The newspaper Liberte roundly abuses M. Caillaux. It says his action is open treason and asks:—"Have we fallen into anarchy?" It is generally believed that the crisis will last a few days, after which M. Poincare will be entrusted with the formation of a new Cabinet and will carry on with a diminished but an adequate majority. It is predicted that this will be composed of Socialist- Deputies who disagree with the decision of the congress.
