McLean. Advice was received from the Railway Department that in accordance with tho deputation which had waited on the traflic manager at Ohakune Junction, every effort would be made to speed up the conveyance of fat stock from Ruetihi and intervening sat ions to the Wellington works. With a view to obtaining definite data as to tho deterioration of tat lambs when travelling long distance* bv it was decided that. Ihe Meat Producers Moaid lie approached to have experiments made in (he matter, and that the. support of the Feihling Freezing Company be. requested* Mr. T. Brown, o."
