WEDDINGS.

The marriage of Miss Dora Millicent Eyre, elder daughter of Mrs. Eyre and the late Mr. S. Eyre, of Pukekawa, to Captain Donald McCrone, of Remuera, was celebrated at the Somervell Presbyterian Church last evening. The Rev. J. Pattison officiated. The bride, who was given away by bet uncle, Mr. R. Eyre, of Ngaruawalna, word a frock of ivory satin charmeuse with a skirt of circular flares in shell pink satin' which fell in uneven points around the hern. Her veil of embroidered Brussels net. formed a long train and was caught to the head with a coronet of f irk orange blossom. She carried a shower bouquet of pale pink roses. Miss Winnie Henderson and Miss Girlie Henderson were bridesmaids and wore frocks of beige georgette with beige silk lace overskirts and a velvet bow of pink and mauve at the waist. Their hats of beige crinoline straw were turned up at one side and trimmed with a cluster of flowers under the brim and they carried posies to -tone. Little Mavis Johnson, who was flower girl, wore a frock of white crepe de chine with a tiered skirt, the waist being outlined with a narrow band of twisted green, pink and mauve ribbon. Pah Road, Epsom, was married to Mr. C. C'aedwgan Ewen, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. F. 0. Ewen, ol Mount Eden. The Rev. W. McDonalcl performed the ceremony. The liride, who entered the church on the anil of her father, wore' a frock of lloniton laco falling to tho ankles and opening in front to show (he bouffant skirt of frilled tulle. The veil, falling over a train of tulle, was worn over the face, and was held in place by a coronet of orange blossom. She carried a shower bouquet of roses and lilies of the valley. The four bridesmaids, Miss Margaret Lamb, Miss Nance Lamb. Miss Beth Lnmb and Miss Sylvia Ewen wore faille taffeta frocks in shades of green, lemon, apricot and blue respectively, with frilled skirts falling in uneven hems. They wore picture hats of crinoline straw and carried bouquets to tone. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Rowland as best man and Mr. Al<;c Lamb and Mr. Gordon Luke were groomsmen. Mr. R. 0. Sinclair. Mr. K. Lamb, Mr. A. Donald and Mr. W. Stewart were ushers.

St. Matthew's Church was the scene of the wedding yesterday afternoon of Miss Esther Onnis'ton Smith, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Oriniston Smith, of Whakapirau, Kaipara, to Mr. Rupert Fenton, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. ' Fenton, of Point Chevalier. Canon Grant Cowen performed the ceremony. The bride, who was given away bv her father, wore a frock of ivory crepe*de chine with a front panel of silver lace outlined with small ■clusters of orange blossom. The skirt was made with georgette flares edged with narrow silver lace and these fell in an uneven hem. Both carried Victorian posies. Master Albert Porter, nephew of. the bride, was page boy, and wore a white satin suit with ruffles. Tho best man was Mr. Edgar Porter, brother of tho bride.
