FLOODS IN MADRAS.
railway line damaged. TREMENDOUS FALL OF RAIN. Australian and N.Z. Press Association. DELHI. Oct. 25 The floods in Madras are continuing. The railway lino between Samalkot and Waltair has been damaged for 100 miles. Sixteen inches of rain fell in two days. Railway passengers and villagers were marooned for noarly a week.
