CARLISLE DISASTER.
GOODS TRAIN OVERTAKEN. EXPRESS PASSENGERS ESCAPE. Austialian L'ress Association—United Service LONDON. Oct. U5. The railway accident near Carlisle occurred when the Aberdeen express overtook the goods train. By a fortunate circumstance the four leading vehicles of the. express were fruit vans These, with tho two engines of the express, toppled over into a field. The carriages remained upright. The passengers simply walked out with only very slight injuries. The two drivers and two firemen were killed.
