STAINS FROM CARPETS.
Summer sunshino shows up all the stains and nmrks on your carpels. But you can rcinovo them by the following methods.
Black Lead. —Tnrpentirio on a rag. Rub round tho mark, working toward the centre.
Soot.—First, weight it down with salt, then brush into a dustpin. Ink.—-Apply weak oxalic acid, and directly afterwards borax powder. Unknown Stains. —Borax water or soap jelly and water Tea or Coffee.—Borax water.
Graase.—Plac6 soiuo brown or blotting paper over the part and hold a, hot iron over tho placo to draw up tho grease.
