The fifth railway smash which has occurred i't Britain this month occurred nt, 3 a.m. to day north of Carlisle. An express train drawn by two engines, hound front Huston to Aberdeen, collided head-on with a freight train. Two drivers and two firemen were killed. The number of people injured is not yet known.
