Otway 1 up. At the end of 18 holes Otway was 3 up, but Blur.deU'a good putting enabled him to make up tho leeway. With uine boles to play tho game was all square, and with three to play ho was 2 up. Tho 31th was halved, Otway won tho 35th, and the Inst was halved.

The final match for tho ladca' championship of the Whanjiarei Golf Club for tho season 1923 was plcycd yesterday afternoon at Mount Denby liaks, in a drizzling rain, and resulted ir. a win for Miss Carruth, who defeated Mrs. P. R. Gardner by 5 itp and '1 to play. For the first nint; hole 3 each player did 40. which is only one over par, and they wore all square at the ninth hole. From thera on Miss Carruth gradusilly forged ahead and won at the 14th green.
