Lord Kylsant, chairman of the Royal Mail and oilier .shipping companies, who has arrived at New York, said the prosperity of lbo Americans was so great that bis company felt justified in increasing its expenditure for the purpose of improving its transatlantic service in every way possible. Tho new electrically propelled liner which would shortly be placed on tho service was built in accordance with this policy, and the company had a reasonable certainty of a fair return on its investment.
