DAMAGE BY FIRE.
NUMEROUS CRATES OF EGGS. PREMISES AT DUNEDIN. [by TELr.Gr.Arir.— press association] DUNEDIN", Wednesday. Hundreds of crates of eggs and a quantity of sugar and produce wero badly damaged in a fire in Messrs. Steel and Ward's premises in Princes Street to-day. Two motor-trucks were nioro or less seriously damaged. The loss is estimated at £IOOO. OUTBREAK AT GISBORNE. UPHOLSTERY STOCK BURNED. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS association] GISBORNE, Wednesday. Fire broke out at 1 p.m. to-day in a small building adjoining Mr. A. E. Beddow's furniture shop and upholstering factory. The building was used for upholstery work. The brigade effected a good save of the premises, but much upholstery material was considerably damaged. Tho insurance on the stock was £IOO m the South British Office.
