REPORTS OF MANAGERS. New Waiotahi.—The drive on the reef at tho 100 ft. mark in tho crosscut toward the Caledonian reef has been advanced sft. for tho week. Tho reef lias pinched to about 2in. A few colours of gold have been seen in tho quartz taken down during tho week. Tho country continues of the sumo favourable nature, and when the reef again opens out tho chances of getting gold aro favourable. Occidental Una United.—-Stopinc on tho No. 2 reef at No. 5 level is being continued. Tho leading slope hi.s been carried along for 30ft. in length and 20 loads of oro have been carted to McGregor's battery, Ivaraka Creek, for treatment. Crushing started on October 23.
