FIXTURE IN FEBRUARY.

OFFICERS OF ASSOCIATION.

At tho annual meeting of the To Piike Agricultural and Pastoral Association, presided over by Mr. J. A. Brown, attention was drawn to a drop in last year's gate takings, compared with those of the previous show.

Tho meeting approved the dato for tho show, fixed by tho delegates of tho various associations, namely, February 13. A suggestion made by tho conference that the dates for the various shows bo printed on a combined poster was approved. Messrs. Pearson, J. Fisher, S. Godinagh, and Simpson were elected members. An optimistic note was sounded by Mr. H. A. Vorcoo regarding the. future of the association. 110 said, with railway connection east and west, To Puko was the natural centre for a big show.
