MT. WELLINGTON AFFAIRS.
ROAD BOARD MEETING. The Mount Wellington Load Board met on Tuesday evening, the chairman, Mr. George Kay, presiding. Tho Passenger Transport Bus Company wrote complaining of the state of Portage Jtoad As this is a boundary road between the Mount Wellington district, and the Otahuhu borough, and a commission had been applied for by the Otahuhu Council for an allocation of tho cost of maintenance, it was decided to advise, tho Bus Company to communicate with Otahuhu. It was decided to accede to the request of the Mount Eden Borough Council to support the transport board proposal. The health inspector was instructed to take special precautions against the breeding of mosijuitooH in stagnant water.
