STAFF DANCE.

The Lewis Eady, Limited, Hull jnosontcrl a scene of gaiety last evening when a successful dance was held there by the members of tho staff of the Shell Oil Company (N.Z.), Ltd. The stage, which was occupied by the orchestra, was arranged with palms, these again being seen in the entrance to tho hall. Humorous recitations by Miss Linda Murphy and songs by Mr. Eskriggo also added to tho enjoyment of the evening. Among (hose present were: —Miss M. Patorson, who wore a frock of petuniashaded georgette with an overdress of gold lace; Miss Alcyone Smith, frock of almond green georgette with autumnshaded shoulder flower; Miss Parr, apricot georgette embroidered in silver beads; Miss Peggy Cooper, rose taffeta with hem of silver lace; Miss M. Stewart, flamo georgette; Miss Nancy Purdom, forest greeri georgette trimmed with narrowbands of black ribbon ; Miss '!'. Jackson, cream embroidered lace with sash; of powder blue; .Miss White, shell pink petalled georgette; Miss Lucas, black net over georgette: Miss Kirk; lacquer red brocaded crepe do chine; Miss Rae, scarab blue taffeta ; Mrs. Nisbet, mauve taljeta with tiered skirt-; Miss ]!. P.udd, delphinium blue crepe fie chine; Mrs. Hepburn, larkspur blue crepe do china and gold lace; Miss M. Prentice, pompadour pink taffeta; Miss A 1.. Rae, blue taffeta; Mrs. Lawrence, grey floral cropo de chine; Mrs. Pay no, midnight bluo panne velvet and diamante; xMiss Millie, flame tafMa; Miss Hunt, leaf green petalled georgette and lame; Miss DicVens, peach georgette beaded in silver; Mrs, Middlcton, apricot crepe dc chine; Mrs. Kirk, black georgette with floral skirt ; Miss Hawkes, powder bin.-, rnffeta with pink shoulder rose; Miss Webster, ivory chiffon with overskirt of silver lace; Miss Upton, black ring velvet.
