DIFFERENCES OF OPINION

The Auckland Yacht and Motor-boat Association appointed delegates Inst evening to wait on (he Harbour Board with regard to (he new boat harbour at St. Mary's Day. At this conference, the layout of the boat harbour, the roading, provision of boatshods and clubhouse sections, haulmg-out accommodation, as well as (lie questions of mooring sites and the fees to be charged for tile use o» tho various facilities, are to be considered. Mr. Moller added that the board dosired a fair rate of interest 011 its outlay. The day of the good old beaches and cheap rates was gone. lie thought the proposed charges reasonable. Mr. N. E. Wilson said he was surprised at the attitude of somo of the delegates. If they persisted in their view they could not expect anything else from the Harbour Board.
