LAST NIGHT OF THE SERIES.
The series of social evenings which have been held by the Dunedin Club during the winter months came to an end with the one which took placo last night. With shaded lights and bowls of liowcis <111(1 foliage, the two rooms, 0110 for dancing and tlio other for bridge, looked very bright and attractive. Mrs. Raymond acted as hostess and wore a black sequnined frock, with shaded shoulder rose. Among those who were present were: Mis. Gow, who wore a frock of beigo crepe do chine; Mrs. Faulkner, black georgette, and red shoulder rose; Mrs. Watson, icu and white embossed georgette; Mrs. IJodd, black beaded georgette, with whito embroidered scarf; Mrs. A. W. Smith, black ring velvot, with diamante trimming; Mrs. N. C. Sneddon, black beaded georgette; Mrs Oliver, black and whito satin, headed in gold; Mrs. Hay, pink crepe do chine; Mrs. Mitchell, black lace over pink crepe de ciiine; Mrs. Hamilton, black georgette, beaded in black and silver; Mrs. Munro Clark, powder blue tinselled lace and Oriental trimming; Mrs. 0. Jonas, black fiuck beaded in black and gold; Mrs. Virtue, green taffeta and silver lace; Mrs. R Hemming, pink satin, with green tulle hip bow; Mrs. Sheriff, black crepe de chine; Mrs. McGruer, black georgette; Mrs. King, tangerine crepo de chine; Mrs. Bowring, black lace, over silver tissue; Mrs. Thatcher, apricot satin and lace; Mrs. Wright, black georgette, with silver lace and Oriental-coloured scarf; Mrs. Johnson, wallflower crepe do chino, with Oriental trimming and fringes; Mrs. F. Wright, black georgette, with peach coloured embossed shawl. Miss C. Find lay woro pink crope de chino, with silver iace; Miss Cox, powder bluo crepe do chino, beaded in.silver; Miss Davidson, pink shot taffeta, with silver girdle; Miss Yvonne Arlen, green tullo frock, with uneven hemline; Miss Dallas Beehan, powder bluo taffeta; Miss Dorothy Ross, heavily beadod green georgette; Miss MacDonnell, sapphiro blue panno velvet; Miss Munro Clark, silyei ]nce and white georgette; Miss Blair, black and powder blue taffeta; Miss Alexander, shot taffeta and silver lace; Miss Emerson, cyclamen crepe do chino and olectric bluo shawl; Miss Siedeberg, black and silver frock; Miss Singleton, black, with diamante trimming; Miss Farquhar, corise crepo de chine and shawl to lone. Miss McLean, electric bluo beaded georgetto; Miss MacDornell, bois do rose crepe fiouri, with Orientul embroidery; Miss Crook, black georgette and shawl.
