TITIRANGI ROAD.
Sir,—l am glad to see "Titirangi Ratepayer" again draw attention to the dread, ful state Titirangi Road is now in. For some time past it has been the practice of the board having control of this road to fill in potholes with metal, which is washed awa.v with the first heavy rain, and the road is as bad as ever again. Nearer Park Road, there are some deep ruts at bends in the road which should be put in order at once and the road straightened to avoid the possibility of accidents. During the summer months Titirangi Road has an enormous' amount of traffic from early in the morning until late at night. I understand funds are available for the concreting of this road, and the work should be commenced now. Some of the hundreds of unemployed in Auckland could be put on the job and the work pushed through as quickly as possible. Why delay! Another Ratepayer. •
