ACCLIMATISATION WORK.

ESTIMATES FOR THE YEAR. QUAIL FROM NORFOLK ISLAND. The council of tho Auckland Acclimatisation Society met last evening, tho chairman, Mr. F. K. Mclvenzie, presiding. Estimates of revenue and expenditure for the year ending March, 1929, were submitted by the secretary, Mr. C. M. Gordon, tho excess of revenue being shown at £IOO.
